What Plumbward collects, and where it goes.
The plugin collects nothing. The website counts page views without cookies. If you take Lite or buy the kit, Polar runs the checkout and holds your email. The detail is below.
The plugin.
Neither Lite nor the full kit makes a network call, sends telemetry, or reports anything back to me. The skills are instructions Claude reads. The full kit also has two hooks, which are shell scripts that run on your machine: one reads your profile and checkpoint files when a session starts, the other reads the command Claude is about to run and asks you first if it could delete, move or overwrite files.
Files it writes, all in the folder you are working in, all on your machine:
plumbward-actions.md, the dry-run skill's log of what it changed._to_delete/, where dry-run moves files you approved for removal, so you delete them yourself.plumbward-profile.md, written by the full kit's interview. Lite never creates it.plumbward-checkpoint.md, the full kit's notes for resuming a session..plumbward/preview-approved, the full kit only: an empty file recording that you approved a list, deleted when the batch finishes.
Your conversations with Claude are between you and Anthropic, under your Claude account's terms. Plumbward sees none of them.
This website.
Vercel hosts the site and counts page views with Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies. Each page view records the time, the page address, the site you came from, tags in the address such as utm_source, an approximate location, and your device type, operating system and browser. Vercel tells visitors apart with a hash of the request and discards it after 24 hours, so I see counts, not people. Like any web host, Vercel processes your IP address to serve the page.
The fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google for them and Google receives your IP address with that request, under Google's privacy policy. The checkout script loads from jsDelivr, a public code host.
Checkout and your email.
Polar is the merchant of record for the full kit and for the free Lite download. Polar runs the checkout, takes payment and keeps the order record. Card details go to Polar's payment processor, and I never see a card number. Polar's privacy policy covers what it collects.
In Polar I can see your email, the name you gave, what you took or bought, and when. I use your email for this and nothing else:
- Delivery and receipts, sent by Polar.
- Lite: up to three short emails in the first week, about installing it and whether it helped.
- The kit: one email about a week after you buy, asking how it went. Replying is optional, and nothing you write appears on this site without your yes.
- No mailing list. Your email is never sold or shared.
To stop the follow-ups, reply to any of them and say so.
How long it is kept.
- Page views: counts only, and the visitor hash is gone after 24 hours.
- Orders: kept by Polar under its policy, including what tax law requires it to keep.
- Email: kept in my inbox until you ask me to delete it.
To have your email and our correspondence deleted, write to uzayrhai@gmail.com. I will delete what I hold, stop any follow-ups, and ask Polar to delete your customer record, apart from what it must keep for tax.
Everything else.
Plumbward is sold by Uzayr Hussain and is not intended for anyone under 18. If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. Questions go to uzayrhai@gmail.com, and I read every one.
